Description
My Client is one of the country’s largest independent retailer of Press supplements and convenience stores, There role is to serve local communities in residential and neighbourhood areas with a strong presence on many high streets throughout the UK.
There continued success depends entirely upon the dedication of the staff. We now require a driven Area manager who must have experience in the FMCG industry. This could be in the drink industry, food industry to birthday cards! The successful candidate must be experienced in running either multiple stores or have site management experience. I
Main Duties include:
· As an Area Manager you will actively ensure the branches across your Area (Up to 20) comply with our high standards of customer service and retail operations.
· This role will see you making regular structured visits to monitor everything from stock control and security to profit and loss.
· Taking a hands on approach throughout, you will coach, challenge, motivate and support your staff to drive forward their performance and therefore ours.
· These roles are about development and performance management, so you will need to be a strong leader with the ability to bring out the best in others.
You will come to this role with experience of multi-site retail management and, as such, it is likely that you are an Area Manager ready to take the next step in terms of challenge, variety and responsibility.
